Lost Battalion Game's latest release offers 2-6 players the chance to struggle for supreme authority atop the declining Roman Empire, employing attacks by Legions, barbarians, bribes, assassins, and even the whims of the gods to weaken their opponents or strengthen themselves.
Tyrants of Rome™ contains a total of 128 cards, in two decks. Build your faction of wily or powerful leaders from five regional nationalities of the empire, as depicted in the Leader deck. A large Action Card deck allows for conflicts and excitement with every new play, with options and hard choices at every turn.

3.9 It is recommended that the various Action Cards referenced below be at hand while reading through these examples turns depicting the middle of a three player Game involving Jeff, Jim and Jay (in that order).
3.9.1 During his Turn, Jeff decides that now is the perfect time to assassinate Jim’s despicable Gaul Postumus since his current strength value is "4" having been hit with a Legion –3 card earlier. Jeff’s only Leader who can attempt an assassination is the Roman Salonina, and she is currently inactive. So, Jeff pushes his Leader Card forward into the active Leader row indicating that Salonina is now an active Leader.
