This new column was almost called "Twice Told Tales" because it recycles the
portions of the Publisher’s Corner column and Cher Ami Newsletter that are
history articles. There is some light editing to allow the pieces to stand
alone, a few of the articles were expanded and some new illustrations were
added. The main feature of this column is not its originality but the
convenience that all the history articles not otherwise categorized as fodder
for our other features can now be found at this one place instead of searching
through the other column’s archives. So far all of the columns are mine but
interesting submissions from others are welcome. We are, in the main, looking
for short articles covering the more unusual aspects of history, although more
general "background" pieces on our game topics
are also welcome.
